FRUIT BODY: 1 - 3 cm fruiting body with a chestnut-tan inner and outer surface that starts off cup shaped and eventually flattens out into a disc-like specimen. GILLS/PORES: N/A. FLESH: Brittle, tasteless and odourless. SPORES: Hyaline, smooth, elliptical with small oil droplets at each end. HABITAT: Found growing on the tubers of Wood Anemone and less so Lesser Celandine. SEASON: Uncommon.  Spring. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
